grinding the plate gives you more power and doesn't cost a thing

I have been looking at pictures of plates. Does anyone know where I can find some sort of directions. So I do not do it completly wrong.

#100 = lots of fuel

#0 = mega mega lots of fuel

So the answer is no a #100 is not as hot

I made a #10 I like it smooth and lots of low end torque.

Northslope how did you make your cold air intake. Looks like a stock box with a cone filter with a intake tube running into the fender well.

It's a group 27 battery box, for now. Drilled a 4" hole through the firewall and used 3-1/2" wet exhaust hose for ducting to the f/wall. Then hooked up the stock air duct hole in the fender and put a cone filter in it and it's done! What takes the longest is fitting the stuff together. When I get some more $$ and time (daylight) This summer I'll build a more permanent box out of p;exiglass or stainless or aluminum sheet
