I was finally doing my KDP today and found out I need a new harmonic balancer. What is the best place to get one and how much do they run? Also I'm going to make my KDP tab out of a fender washer. Will this work or should I use something thicker. Do I need a longer bolt and if so is it possible to have one too long that it would go all the way thru the cover? I'm glad I'm finally doing this as the pin has started to work its way out the front of the cover.

 

I made my tab with .050 alum. A little longer bolt is good. Don't forget to use loc-tite on it and every other bolt you can get to.

 

Bought one from the dealer today $175.20 and that was wholesale. I could have got one from cummins, but they had to order it. Cummins was $145 plus $20 to overnight ship.
