Need Help Transmission Crossmember ??
I was looking at the trans crossmember support brackets that go from the trans crossmember to the top of the frame rail. It appears that one side is angled differently than the other and I'm assuming that is to clear the exhaust (???). The brackets on mine appear to be backwards where the driver side seems to have a less aggressive angle (which I assume is to clear the exhaust (???). I ordered a diamond eye 4" turbo back system and there is no way this is going in with the support bracket that is there.
So are the trans support brackets different from left to right or does this system not work on a 1990 4wd?? I don't mind swapping out the brackets if they're wrong but I don't want to waste my time if I'll be in the same situation afterwards. Please advise.
