What is the are difference in parts if I am going from a 5 speed to an auto swap in my 4 x 4? And what stall speed do most go with on a built auto. I will do some 12K towing....
And if I do this I will be selling my 5 speed with SB Con OFE that has less than 2000 miles and comes with a extra, new in box, roller bearing fly wheel....

I converted my 95 4x4 auto to a 5 speed. I have the trans (94 and 95 are the RH not RE),cross member,lines ,pedal,etc, I also have a brand new ATS triple loc torque converter that I had intended to use. If you buy an ATS or other brand trans controller I don't think you need all that other stuff. My trans does need to be rebuilt but was still working when I removed it. I have read that many of the sled pullers prefer the RH over the RE trans. I would even swap steering colums if we could get together on a weekend.
Heh , put me down for a swap too , but i am am awful long ways away.... I would love to have a 5 speed instead of this slushbox, the only reason I have it , is the whole time I was looking , not one single 5 speed came up, as soon as i bought about 10 million hit the market...
