Lift pump Ticking

This lift pump is only like 4 months old and its suddenly ticking really loud if i put a little pressure on the primer bulb, and the ticking instantly goes away. It never did this before and just started just a few days after i put new injectors in? My lp is still under warrenty, what do you guys think.

Mines been ticking for 2 years,I carry a spare one in the truck as well as an overflow valve.Unless the truck is having bad mileage or low power Id leave them both alone.

So i guess that the rod on the back of the pump is causing the ticking when it is hitting the cam....wont hurt the cam will it?

Take it out and see if there is unusual ware on the foot , you can get a defective LP , But you not want to ruin your cam , unless your looking for a reason to put in a upgraded cam .
Could be a broken spring .
