I am new to the CTD world but maybe someone can answer a couple of questions for me.
I have a 1994 completely stock. Is the dowel pin issue something I need to worry about with the 94's.

I am just wondering why this dowel pin isn't subject to a recall if the potential for damage is so extensive.

 

Yep...The dowel pin is an issue on the 94s. I would imagine that it wasn't a recall issue because it only "comes loose" so to speak about 1% of the time. On the other hand, as many of the guys have said on this board that have more experience than me, if it does come loose you are looking at some extensive damage and $$$$ to repair.
