What about the fan bearing or whatever its called, its mounted to a heavy chunk of iron and doesn't look to pleasant to re-remove, do they fail often? Mine has zero play in it. As for access to do the KDP I pulled the rad, super simple with 2 bolts is all. I took the rad down and had it cleaned and inspected too.
