I found this piece in my tranny pan today...
So today I go to change my fluid and filter and I find this funny looking fork thing sitting in my tranny pan. now I know why I had no second gear. I pulled the valve body out and put it back where it goes and hello, second gear is back! im all excited cause I never messed with trans before today.
sleeper?
LanceD,
well congradualations on your tranny fix. good job!
i have a question for you about your dog sleeper, half sleeper, or cowboy sleeper. what ever you call it. what brand is it, and where did you get it? is it a stand up one, or just from the bed rails up.
i have one on my 1st gen, but its a flat top one. i love it. but i am going to add a 2nd gen 12v to the stable, and would like to find a sleeper likes yours. any help would be great!
thanks, Bob

The bands must have been pretty loose to lose an apply lever!! Surprised it didn't hurt the front servo too. I would run the DC pressure test barage to make sure there's no pressure differences 'tween the acc port and servo port....might fend off some future problems. Glad to hear it was outwardly a simple fix.
