Took mine off a long time ago.. Dont have a reason why I took it off

 

I don't think I've ever seen one on a 12v. Maybe in a picture.

 

Mine is off too and has been for a long time. Due to all my head work along with much heavier valve springs and 14mm studs, the insides of my valve covers had to be "reamed out" some to allow for all that. I also installed the chrome valve covers from Cummins along with alot of other chrome underhood parts.
