Mine is right at 228K and still running strong. It does have one small oil leak between the vacuum pump and timing housing that I haven't taken care of yet, but other than that the engine is still tight. My most recent improvement was installing a set of H2 Hummer 17" wheels after machining the center holes to 4.776". The Yukon manual hubs up front and the silver painted hub flange on the rear, along with a set of Gorilla wheels locks, really set this truck apart from others. I'm still loving it.

Did a service on a marine variant of the trusty 12v this summer - 45 000 hours.. always run either at idle or at 3500 rpm .. multiply the hours by 50 and get loaded miles..
Had to pull a 12V with only 15 000 hours in fall - cold starts will kill them . Machine regularly started at -25C and warmup less than 5 minutes before going wide open..
I think the Cummins in the Dodge pickups die of boredom.

My 96 RAM 2500, purchased new, just turned 360,000 miles. Just routine maintenance. Just completed a trip Texas to Florida 2100 mile round trip pulling a loaded low boy trailer. What I find amazing is I’m still on the original clutch. It still pulls like new. No slipping, nothing. Not sure what is going on but I keep driving it.
