Hot and Smokey & way down on power

Ok Guy's it's looking like I might have a boost leak? The truck has been loosing power as of late and today was the worst! I am not sure what could be causing this other than a boost leak? Anyone have any ideas besides the boost leak? What is the best way to check for a boost leak?
Thanks

Check the intercooler boots to start, they like to split open.

They rub on the fender metal near the rad when they swell and get holes worn in them. For the problem you describe, I would also inspect the air filter and turbo just to be sure all is good there.

yea well the boots are fairly new the filter was the first thing I checked an the turbo is working fine. So I think I am looking at the intercooler? Where do they typically part? My turbo is good for 50 psi when flogged I'm sure that is over what the factory recommends for max boost.... What are you all replacing the intercoolers with? Provided that is the problem??
