well the guys that worked on it were playin with it and shorted something out thats how we know that

One of the things that make the PCM so trouble free is they have four internal self resetting circuit breakers to protect from external shorts.

this engine is in the ford in my sig. It's definitely not the PCM lol. The grids are run through relays (both the relays and the grids do work) which are pretty much brand new and a push button.

I think it doesn't like to start too good because of a decent advance in the timing. That's the only thing I can think of it being because it otherwise runs perfect. I should check to see where exactly the timing is set but I don't have the timing dial indicator thing. I'd have to take it to a shop to find out, which I don't wanna pay the $$ for.
