have a second gen 5 speed dodge ,jerks hard in 3rd under heavy load at low to mid range rpm i knoww abot the 18-29-97 service bulletin but the parts are not available,also know there are a lot of threads about this problem but i cant seem to find the info if anyone has time to offer a solution it would be appreciated,also does not give a problem with lighter loads 7-8k is fine 14k is a large prob 96 5spd 4:10 gears fuel plate and 300hp injectors and 4k springs if that matters

 

add some additional throttle springs. The throttle is insanely touchy on the 5speeds with a 4k gsk

mine did the same thing
