I have a 1996 2500 5 speed and I bought a Gsk spring kit for it!
I was sitting in the drive way and had the truck running when i rev it up it will rev to 3000 rpm! does this mean it already have a gsk spring in it?

 

no load stock springs will hit 3000 rpm but starts defueling at around 2300, a 3200 kit will rev to about 3500 but olny fuels to 3200...if you dont have upgraded valve spring reving to over 3000 rpm you may float a valve...not good
