Dragon Slayer I have owned two other 12 valves in the last 5 years. This will be the best one yet. Very clean on the inside which I am very excited about. And the body is very clean with the typical paint peeling on the hood and passenger window pillar. Just very happy to find a 12 valve locally exactly how I want it.

Couple pictures I snapped tonight....

When I get the truck home tonight I am going to move the stock fuel plate forward and call it good until I get the trans built up. In the past with my 12 valves it seems once I dig into the fuel plate the AFC housing the screws always seem to loosen up. Would light thread lock help with the screw coming loose? Has anyone used thread lock on the 4 small bolts with success? My only concern is using a thread lock on aluminum?

Sweet truck! And what a great price too!

I only know about Loctite brand specifically... If those screws are coming loose, use the green stuff (bearing retainer)
Just kidding.....
You're likely ok with blue (242) but I'd probably use the stuff designed for tiny threads (222MS I believe). I'd say you're ok to use it on aluminum, as long as you don't use red or something... A great trick for a Loctited bolt is to use a little heat before removal - it loosens right up.

9812 I am stoked to fine a truck with a clean interior and a auto. And I can't believe it came with all the extra goodies.

It has Cabela's camo seat covers that I don't like. But underneath the seats are in mint condition.

I sprayed the rims with DuPont bed liner in a can. Holds up well and is CHEAP........

I will be taking off the nerf bars as well. As soon as I cut the welds the PO laid down....... LOL

Yeah, a truck like you've got there is really hard to find up here, and waaaaay more moola. My Father-in-law went all the way to Texas for a '97 last year. I have nurfs too... I kinda like 'em. Hey - wanna trade seats? My drivers seat is plumb wore out!
