fuel shutoff relay

is there a way to check the fuel shutoff relay on a 97 with a cummins in it i put a new relay on and it started maybe 5 times

Fuel relay is on the hold circuit, pull circuit runs thru the starter. Doe it start then shut off when you let off the key?

Make sure the blue wire (fusible link) at the battery isn't corroded.
Sometimes they corrode under the insulation where you can't see it.
