Front hub problems
Initally lost the drivers side w/ 171,000 on it. Replaced both sides. Passengers side is going great with no problems but after 2K the drivers side went out again. Plenty of grease in the outer bearing but the inner was wasted. NAPA warrantied it and now I am starting to see the same thing happening again. I have also noticed it seems the driver front tire will lock up sooner than the rest on our dirt roads. Could the caliper be hanging up and causing heat which is destroying the bearing? If so wouldn't it destroy both inner and outer and not just inner? Going crazy trying to figure it out and with the price of the hubs I'm gonna need a loan soon.

Read my post, I went thru the exact same thing with Napa hubs/bearings and rotors/bearings going bad to early.
From what I believe now, hindsight says you need new calipers and brake lines.

OK, replaced the bearing and caliper. So far haven't needed to retorque the spindle nut yet, the last 2 times it was a retorque daily. See how it goes.
