If you go to my gallery you'll find a list of names/part numbers that go with this diagram.

So The Way It Looks From The Cut Away Pic Is That You Take Out That Plug And Use A Screw Driver To Turn The Star Wheel Counter Clockwise Like A Drum Brake Adjuster Am I Correct?

So You Would Adjust It Out Or In? Are They Set Pretty Much In The Middle From The Factory.

Turn the top of the starwheel towards the engine.
You can't really turn the starwheel too far, your screwdriver won't be able to reach it when it's way forward.

I saw a pump cracked like that but not near as bad after the timing case cracked from a loose KDP and the owner JB Welded the crack.
What happened is without the KDP and decreased structural integrity of the case the timing case broke totally in half. Nothing left to hold the injection pump in place but the lines, linkage, etc, which were also mangled.
