engine quits when it is hot outside

I pull up to a stop sign, but it hot outside, 95+, and my engine will quit. It will start right up, and I continue on my way. This does not happen at all whatsoever when it is less than 95. Any ideas, I am a bit confused. Thanks in advance.

How's your idle speed? Mine drops ever year when the hot air rolls in.

Idle is 750 with the a/c on. The truck will die at cold start idle when it is very cold in the morning, but I have read that this is normal. I have been running WVO for over a year, but this quitting development is recent. I do not think the two are related.

They could be related.
Quite a few people have quit running WVO after seeing the deposits it produces on injector tips and valves. It usually takes tens of thousands of miles to develop and is due to sugar, salt and other contaminates in WVO that can't be filtered out that basically caramelize rather than burn.

OK, I will have to pull a injector or two and check for deposits. Although I have been running WVO for a year, I only have about 7-8000 miles on it. I don't drive it much. Any other possibilities?

I have not heard of these trucks stalling in cold start situations unless there is an issue with jelling fuel.

Theres also a fuel return line that runs behind the block and takes unspent fuel back to the tank. This line can become weather checked and can also rub up against the block which causes a leak.
Not sure what all the symptoms are when the leak is present, but something you may want to look at.

Check the simpe stuff first, rubber fuel lines, visable leaks, etc and go from there.
