can't find syntorque in colorado...
anyone in the front range know where to find this stuff?

Unless you want it shipped to you Chrysler and GM dealers are the only place.
|
Look at www.quad4x4.com or go to your local dodge or gm dealer. GM also ran the nv4500 in their truck but with a smaller input shaft. This is the number for the tranny oil from GM 12346191.

I'm running BG's synthetic with no problems so far, 40K on it.

Amsoil MTG
Disclaimer I AM NOT A AMSOIL DEALER. The last I bought was around $10 a quart. $10 to $20 less than the local Dodge dealer wants for his oil. |
I ran amsoil MTG, but noticed my shifts were not nice and smooth, went back to syntorque (chrysler branded) and she shifts smooth as silk.

x2 for Amsoil. This actually cured a grind I had in the 1994. After about 150 mi. I never saw a smoother shifting trans. Several others have commented as well after driving. Can't wait to put it into the 1998.

Been running amsoil in my diffs and my 4500 for over 100k miles w/no problems.
