Brake issues...
Looking for some help...I have a major issue in regards to my brakes. I have a 1996 2500 4x4. I'm having problems in getting my front brakes to release. The master cylinder and calipers/pads have been replaced. Numerous lines have been replaced as well. If you drive the truck you can feel that they don't release. Let the truck sit for a while and they are fine again, though they never feel right when depressing the pedal. Gets worse the higher the outside temp. Help?

Did you replace all of the rubber hoses on the front?
|
I have not replaced any of the front lines. I will also add that I don't get much fluid out of the lines when they are off either. New lines would be a quick and easy fix.
|
Sounds like your rubber lines have collapsed inside. It restricts the flow of fluid returning to the master cylinder. A quick fix, just did mine at $30 each.

Excellent! Will give that a try, and thanks for the help!

Yep, I got all 3 from Rock Auto, at that time they had even Raybestos hoses cheap.
