buy Moogs...... i've replaced the ones you get at advance and autozone twice.... put moog's in and haven't had any problems yet.... one set of TRW's i bought from advance only lasted 6 months.... then they were worse than factory ones..... do it once and do it right.....

I second the Moog ball joints. When I had to do my ball joints I really did some research and it all led to Moog. As for removal and installation, I purchased a ball joint tool kit at Harbor Freight. I used it for removal and installation. I did have to make cut a section of pipe as the ones in the kit did not fit. I believe it may have been for the top ball joint. Auto Zone has some tools that you can get free by leaving a deposit until you return the tool. You might check with them.
