Auto To Manual Swap Question

I bought a wrecked 95' 12v 3500. It was a 2wd with a 47RH. I am doing an engine swap into a 83' GMC that we just finished a frame off restoration.

I want to go with a manual, and I know of a G56 for sale.

Does anyone know if a G56 will bolt up to the original adaptor plate that's on this motor?

it should bolt up, but you would be alot happier with a nv4500.

Why would I be happier with a NV4500?

Right now I'm looking for a NV4500, NV5600, or G56.

I just got done puting a nv5600 into my 95 12v Ram that used to be an auto. The nv5600 is great. It shifts al ittle harder than some, but it is sweet for pulling.
