Any body help me out with questions on FL70 5.9 cummins ???
Hey I bought a 95' freightliner FL70 with a cummins 5.9 l with a Allison 4 speed auto. Can anyone tell me how similar the power upgrades are between it and the dodge in 95. I want to find out if I can add power the same way with 3 Kgsk and fuel plate boost elbow.
also anyone know if that engine had similar problems with KDP.
How should I ID the model of Trans and would it be advised to upgrade the torque converter to a triple disk.
They listed the HP at 205 anyone know what pump # and Injectors would be on there.

Freightliner uses the same engine....it responds to all the same mods.The aftercooler on the FL 50,60 and 70 is alot bigger than one on a Dodge. You won't have any trouble with the trans.......install a temp gauge....use transynd fluid and keep it fresh
