Unhappy anti freez leak

Hey guys I was going over the engine in the truck the other day and noticed a pool of engine coolant around a ~3/4" hose with a threaded connector going in to the top of my motor. my question is do I just try and tighten it, un screw it pipe dope it and screw it back together, or pull it and replace it?

I try to do the easiest fix first. Try tightening it a bit.

If it's the 90 degree hose that's only about 3 inches long, then yes. I tried tightening but it still leaked. Napa has one that works for about $5.
