another cold cranking question
another cold cranking question
i changed the shutoff relay, batteries were old so i put new ones on.the only way i can get the truck to start quickly after sitting a long time is to have someone to hold up on the shutoff solenoid or to press the gas peddle a little while cranking like it says on the sun visor.thanks
someone told me that it is hard on the turbo when you press on the peddlewhile cranking.i told him dodge wouldnt put instructions on the visor if it would hurt the motor,i just wanted to check with yall .thanks for the help.
Don't let the engine accelerate, as soon as it starts to come alive let off the throttle. Have someone watch to make sure the shut off solenoid is pulling all the way up when you hit the starter.
