American Axle into 95

I have almost completed my rear end swap. 03 AA 3:73. Put on Toyo's Open Country 245/70/17's, this gives me the same diameter as the 16" on the Dana, so lowered my speed about 3 mph.
Have decided to try the brakes with my vacuum booster before changing to hydra-boost. My driveshaft to rear end angle looks a little steep, 10 degrees.
Having trouble bleeding fronts, took out spring from 02 proportioning valve and will try bleeding tomorrow. Used an 02 (slightly modified bolt pattern) master cylinder and P. valve, stock 95 RWAL valve.
Any suggestions welcome.

Found out these master cylinders must be bench bled before installation, was not the proportioning valve. Also had to grind off and reweld spring perches about 10 degrees to get the ideal driveshaft/u-joint angle.
Should be ready to test in a couple of days.

Question

I thought you could purchase wedges that go between the leaf springs and perches to solve problems with pinion angles.

Vaughn, The steepest wedges are 8 degrees or about 1/2 inch at the thick end. I needed close to one inch. The only right way to correct this problem was to re-position the spring perches. I haven't measured the driveshaft angle, but it looks close to 3 degrees.
As far as pics, there is not much to see, I will write up directions for this mod sometime this winter.
Will update when finished.

Sounds like a good mod... The addition of the rear disks and the 3.73 ratio sounds perfect for the auto, especially when towing.

Having trouble with rear brakes. Bled ok, but no pressure to rears.
Checked at the M/Cylinder, seems like little pressure right from there on.
Will try to rig up my pressure gauge and measure both fronts and rears.
Any ideas? (truck is a 2 wheel drive, no load sensor on rear end.)

Finally got my truck back on the road today. Now she stops empty which did not happen before.
The test will be when I hook up the 5er.
Was an interesting project and I think it will be worth the time and money.
