Is an aeroturbine realy work
 

Hello,<br> I was on ebay the other day looking at CTD stuff when i ran across a thing called an aeroturbine. This thing looked kinda like a chrome glass pack muffler, they wanted atleast 150.00 for it. The manufature claimed that the aeroturbine will actually pull exhuast from the trucks engine thus decreaseing turbo lag EGT's at the same time. They claim that you mount it behind the turbo. i was just wondering if anyone haad one and if they really worked or not. <br> TY

i was going to ask this question too. i don't really think that it works, but maybe someone smart can tell us that there's something scientific to it ;) ???<br><br>Tom

I'm betting it's snakeoil.<br>Similar to the one you put on top of a carburator, supposed to vortex the air in for increased gas mileage.<br><br>The home page of the manufacturer says its for the &quot;Cummings Turbo Diesel&quot;.<br><br>Not very hope inspiring.<br><br>phox

What is the going price for this thing. Maybe someone should get one and see if it is hot air or not.
