Been hanging around at the shop at the co-op since I've only been working half days.
Guy came in for an oil change the other day. Almost perfectly rust-free 98 qc 12 valve, and didn't even have a crack in the dash.

 

Wish I never put a plow on mine, body really rotted away over the last 10 years. Dash is still perfect at least, and cut in panels are going in one by one. Just saw one on local Craigslist, 175k miles, rot starting in all the normal places, complete 5 speed swap (rear end and 215pump) for $12k.

 

I bought mine from a classified ad on this site 7 years ago for $9000 w 200k. Now it's almost at 300K and given the scarcity, it's getting an overhaul. Any other truck needing as much little **** would get demoted to beater…
And the original dash is not cracked. SD
