Gentlemen I just laid my grubby evil first gen paws on a clean 94 2500 p pump 5 speed 2 wd. My questions are..how do I get the cruise to work and what turbo came on my truck?

WH1C is the turbo, basically an early HX-35. I see them on the '94 and '95s.

The cruise needs vacuum and the 2nd gens are know to have cracked black vacuum lines or missing dry roitted rubber connectors for them.

Check out threads on 2nd gen vacuum issues.

Other issues on the cruise could be plugs being un plugged to it, bad wires or a bum switch on the steering column.

And the clockspring to the steering wheel could also be defective.
I second Oliver at the vacuum suggestion and the wire suggestion, but would like to add that if you could describe your problem a bit more precise it could help us diagnose the problem.

Question: does your AC work correctly or are you stuck in defrost? (If yes- Vac lines and rubbers)

Question: Does the Cruise button light up if you try to engage cruise? (If not- all fuses OK?)

I did find a broken vacuum line that worked the cruise control however when I push the buttons for the cruise I also do not get angry lights either. Oliver I passed up the 93 club for this one it was less money 108k 1 owner garage kept hauled a camper that's it 5 speed. It has some goodies too like the compass and temp in the overhead console. Plus I found the window sticker it's so clean the drive shafts still have readable factory stickers on them.
