You are correct I have not located a fan shroud. Seems to have been lost somewhere in the shuffle. May have to source one

Firing off donor truck

ok so may be a weird question, but I am trying to get the donor truck cummins to fire off before pulling it from the truck. I have a video of it running 1 month ago, but I have not personally heard it.

The fuel tank tank has been dropped by PO. there is a fuel line running from the fuel primer. I placed the fuel line in a fresh can of diesel and primed it by hand. Didn’t fire. I cracked the fuel lines on 6,4,2. Lots of air then fuel. Still wouldn’t fire. Cracked the injectors at 1,3,5. Lots of air then fuel. Still wouldn’t fire. The fuel coming in seems to have a lot of foam/ bubbles. Still may have air getting in somewhere. The battery finally gave out so I put it back in the charger to try again today.

Is is there any other thoughts you guys have. I know it can take a long time to get the air out of these lines sometimes. Thanks

Are you opening up the FSS using a hot wire, or is the truck wiring still doing it?
Bleed the air from the top of the fuel filter housing first, then work to the lines.

FSS still hooked up to wiring. I believe it is activated bc fuel is coming through the injector lines. I am gonna bleed it at the fuel filter and try it again. I’ll keep y’all up to date
