Youre missing one option.....(on both sides) - like my #53

Yeah doc, did yours crack? I thought you had a 12v... Or do you just have a 53 block. I know some of them went into the 12v

One of the 53's on Stameys site is mine...mines the that featured with the 53 on BOTH sides.

So far it hasnt cracked - but its for sale if your interested.

Actually, Ive got an 01 24V with the #53 and a 98 12V without the #53

My #53 is below the injection pump, I didn't see one on the other side. Ooops, I read the question wrong, mine never cracked. I don't really know of any 12Vers that have had a #53 crack.

I agree, it does not appear to be the problem on the 12v as it is on the 24v.

Mine is marked below the injection pump but has never cracked. I should have read the whole question.
