On a 1994 3500, the front end would pop when in 4x4 and turning or under a load. Removed the vac actuator off the front axle, found what I am calling the intermediate shaft splines to be worn off. I am going to get the Posi Lok kit. Where is a good place to purchase the front axle parts? And what info do i need for the axle, ie the length or spline count? Thanks in advance

 

I have a set of passenger and driver side axles, complete, that is in good shape from my 96. It will fit. I also have the collar and actuator if you need it. You should not need anything more except to buy some new bolts and maybe bearings since you are in already in there. Once you have the axle removed, I would replace the oil seal too. I have tools that I can lend to you that will make that job a breeze. Do not go to the dealer, McMaster-Carr is the place. PM me if you are interested.
