4x4 low stuck !
Had to pull a Ford with my ram yesterday. Guy backed into an 6' deep ditch. I put my truck in 4 wheel low and pull him out up hill an 4" fresh snow. Now I can`t get my truck to shift out of 4x4 low . I have not used 4x4 low in five years mb. Is there a trick to get it back in 2 wheel high ??? Help lol. Can`t drive the truck in 4x4 low . After I pulled him out with a grade 8 logging chain he drove away and waved and he did say thanks while I got my chain picked up.

Past that, might take a good yank, mine rarely gets used and is sometimes tough to get out.

you got it correct, it was torque bound . I back it up in some snow and pulled ahead a few times and then I could shift out into 4 high.It had some pulling power in 4 low wow. Thanks for the reply

Is it staying in low range as well or just in 4x4? When you throw the lever on the floor it should at least come out of low range. If it comes out of low but the front doesn't disengage then its probably the actuator or vacuum system. If its just the front acting up I would go to a PosiLock, I love mine.
