I DID have the OD working before it went in the shop to get several unrelated things done.... Exhaust manifold gaskets, new PS pump and lines, Brake work including booster/master cylinder, so I am sure a lot of things got shoved-moved-jerked around in those processes....
Now cannot replicate the wiring fix (finagling "pulled" wires back into position in plug at PCM) I had done previously to get OD back.

Trans relay is good - I think, I swapped it out and still no change. Truck drives just fine without that relay, so WTH does that even do? Basically, it's a two speed truck now - starts out in second gear, shifts OK to third (and back down) but no OD. I can start in first ONLY IF I manually select it and then manually upshift with RPM gain.

I have taken my broken body under said truck and wiped/wiggled/peered at/checked everything wiring related on the trans housing. Trans is newly rebuilt - shop had it back twice for no OD, and did replace the governor and solenoids in the case.

Need fresh eyes on this and new ideas of where to look and solve the problems!
