Pressurized oil leak . . POURING OUT !
Had to get a buddy to come load my truck up yesterday . Lost oil VERY FAST . Its coming fro around the IP / oil sensor location . Obviously its a pressurized leak . Any assumptions ? I did the KDP fix years ago . This leak HAS to be pressurized.

Rusted out stainless braided line [s] that run to the power steering unit or the injection pump are my first guesses.
Tappet cover gasket can make a good leak as well if a chunk of it falls out.

I'd get a replacement sender from Cummins- yours lasted 21 years, the next one should do too.
Basic problem with mechanical gauges is that you have a much longer and much more exposed oil pressure line that can fail and dump your oil again.
That'S why almost every manufacturer went electric for the gauges a long time ago- cheaper and more reliable.
