splitting hairs, but I think (not positive) that the gears are 3.54's.....
the nv4500 5th is .75 and the nv5600 is .73 I think, not really much of a difference, although I did notice it, when I did the conversion. Since putting the 5600 I dont tow much in 6th, its just too fast ussually with 265/85's . Cruising at 80-85 is easy though with 3.54's and the 5600. |
My 'build sheet' from Dodge says "DMDP - Axle Ratio - 3.55".
To-may-to..... To-ma-to :) RJ |

That makes sense on a 24v "want-to-be" but on an 02, it unacceptable :D
Actually, never checked my diff tag... but I will have to clean off the dried mud and see! RJ |
By what is stamped in the ring gear 3.54, if you do the math 3.54..... which "rounds to 3.55 depending on significant figures [dummy]

do you have the 60/70 combo or the 60/80 combo?? Do you have the "anti spin" diff? I'm in raleigh and might be interested.

If you were close to Arkansas I would do it in a heartbeat. 3.54 just seem a little gutless sometimes.
