300,000 mile maintenance check
Rolled over 300k the other day on my truck. Only owned it since 273k, so I have little info on what was done before I got it.
What should I check, or replace at this point - from a pure maintenance standpoint?

U-joint
Ball joints
Tierod ends & track bar
Hydraulic hoses and vacume lines
Fuel lines
Flexable brake lines & brake cylinders
Front wheel bearings steering column bearings

Tenssioner for your accessory belt. those tend to have issues late int eh life span around xxxxx hours. LOL
automatic
its a 12v
check your fuel return check valve
consider a new lift pump or at least giving yours a good hard look.
My old truck i replaced the check valve between 100k-150 and did the lift pumps between 130-150k each time
truck had 400k when sold

Track bar was replaced a few months ago, P/S pump ad steering gear box was replaced a few weeks ago - as well as checking all steering parts for looseness and wear.
I think I am gonna replace the check valve here shortly, along with going through and replacing soft fuel lines.
Thanks for the tips, just gonna make a list and start doing one or so a week.

Do you have any more info on the steering column bearing.
That is the problem I have my shaft moves all around, cumming out from the fire wall.
Thanks Mike
