i just aquired a 1994 dodge diesel it has an auto trans that will only shift gears manually, if i put it in drive it starts in second and stays there, but when i shift it manually it goes first shift, second,shift, paaaaaaauuuuuuseee left off the throttle and thump into third. will manually downshift to second but not to first without going to neutral first and then to low gear. transmission doesnt slip at all and still pulls hard. would like to install a manual trans later but for now would like to fix this problem as im in school till the spring. thanks in advance for any help
