three dead cylinders on 12 valve second gen
I'm new to this thread and trying to find out some more about my cummins. I have a 5.9 12 valve second gen. that is only firing on the front three cylinders. I know the 17.5 to 1 but would like to know if any one knows the compression in psi per cylinder.

400 psi would be close to new.. I think 380 and up would be optimal. How's the fuel supply? And if its only the rear 3, have you checked the valve clearances. There may be a cam problem developing here..
