A possibly more effective approach to your aerodynamics would be to make a rounded front for the trailer.
With a truck with a mid-roof sleeper, a Thermoking reefer gained just over a half MPG over a dry van.
See how the unit is rounded at both the sides and top? The Carrier unit beside it was good for just shy of a half MPG over a dry van.

I think the nose cone would be great, There is a local guy that hauls cars on a car hauler, and he mounted a cone on the front of the trailer, claims it helps.
my on helping mileage on towing this stuff, I don't pull a 5er yet, just because I put too much money in my truck toys to afford one, but I pull a flat bed trailer which loaded is 12k, and I just installed a glacier diesel air boss plenum on the truck. The egt's are down a good 200* on the longest hill, and this 200* was with my tuner set 20% hotter than it was last time I made the same run, and I was up 1.2 mpgs. This was consistent on the way down and back.
