Electric over Hydraulic disk brakes?

Anyone useing electric over hydraulic disk brakes? Last I was around them in the late 90's the electric motors that ran the hydraulic pumps wouldn't last.
Thanks. Tree Dr

I would spend the extra money and go vacuum-over-hydraulic.

Much quicker and more positive response than elect-draulic.

I don't trust anything electric to have anything to do with my brakes; there is just too many things that can mal-function.

Electric or Hydraulic

My 2006 Cedar Creek had electric. My 2006 Day Dreamer has electric/hydraulic. All the difference in the world.

Reliability is my biggest question. For every day use will it last? Or will it die and leave me with no brakes. The vacuum/hydraulic worked great but when empty you slid/smoked the tires if you got on the brakes very much at all.

My brother bought a cattle trailer a couple of years ago with elec/hyd. brakes and you know the kind of enviroment they are in, and no problems at all. I have never pulled vaccum/hyd. but the elec./hyd gets the nod from me they stop really well.

my uncle has a 25' diamond dual tandem trailer. He bought it set up with vacuum over hyd brakes. You could lock them up with 18 4x5 round bales on it. (stupid car )

anyways, it stopped really well. Then he converted it to elect over hyd because he changed trucks (ford 6 uh oh ) He likes them, but i cant see how you can go wrong with vac/hyd!
