F150 ad

Every time the Ford F150 ad populates, I cannot scroll the browser (no scroll slider even populated on the right side) and consume DTR content. (happened just now) Happens quite often. Very annoying.

I just saw something similar...the Ford ad was trying to run and it froze my browser and would not finish loading the page.

I noticed that DTR pages will hang up on ad fetches a lot. The problem is the ad serve isn't responding. Friendly load code would time out rather quickly on an ad fetch, and just continue loading without it. If they don't want to advertize.....bye.

Does Ford really think advertising a F-150 on a 3/4 and 1 ton Dodge Cummins diesel site a good way to spend advertising dollars???
I am guessing that hasn't made many DTR'er head down to the Ford dealership and check out some new F-150 "truck".

Maybe not, but their ads did get me to go check out their F-250 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel Pickup and I liked it so much I bought one!
And this was after owning Dodge CTD Pickups since 1992 although I still
have my dependable 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve.

John,
I guess it is working then.
Just a bit of a head scratcher for me, that this seems like a good avenue to get to potential Ford customers.
Most of us here are pretty happy with our Dodge stuff.

I'm really tired of the ad hang ups with the Ferd stuff too. However I now know any one can back up a trailer with their automatic recycled pop can on wheels. I often what the shelf life is for that kind of technology....

Just use a good ad blocker and none of this stuff happens, what f150 add?

Adfender will do it easily.
