Turbo Suggestions.....Nothing Crazy!

With the modifications I have listed in my sig I was wondering what would be the next size turbo I should be looking to install?
Also I have noticed that with just the Edge set at level 3 I can get my EGT's to 1400-1500 with absolutely no problem. Cruising speeds on the highway are around 700-850. The reason I ask is I just purchased a new holiday trailer and with that loaded it will weigh in around 10000lbs. I am kind of concerned of what I will be seeing for EGT's then.
Any suggestions? The only other mod I want to do is upgrade the tranny then after that leave it as is. I am happy with the power as is. Just would like to get those EGT's down a little.

Need to get that 9cm housing off there. Even going to a Hx35 would be an upgrade for ya. Id would suggest a S300g like the BD Single charger. Spools like stock but cools great.

Thanks for the info. I never even thought of just upgrading to the Hx35. I am sure I would be able to find one of those in the wreckers around here. I will also look into the S300g. Ya I don't wan't anything big but just enough to handle the fueling upgrades I have now. How much HP can the S300g handle?

I really think a 62 would be too big for you unless you are planning bigger injectors down the road. If not then stick with a Super B or HTBG size turbo.

I think the 62 would be too big right now as well. Thanks again for the suggestions. At least it gives me a place to start from now.

I think the s300g is good to about 450 hp. Hop on BD's website and look. And yeah I believe a 62 would be too much to get movin for you especially towing with your mods.

Canuckville, where you live?

First off get rid of those injectors. I would run stock over a jammer stick.

A HX-35 is nice upgrade or a 3rd gen turbo (they are abit larger)

A S362/65 would be a good choice but is not needed for that small of sticks. Mach 1.6 or DPP stage 3 are a good choice. I like the garrett 3782 or 3788 plus a small shot of methanol/water spray. I can pull my 12k RV on cruise control. Twins are nice too, run those as well. You should come out to one of our meets one day.

Hey Mike

Thanks for the suggestions. I am located just about 30mins east of Edmonton.

It looks like Homestead is going to hook me up with his old HX35 he removed from his 02 HO. Ya I know the sticks aren't the greatest. I should have researched that a little more before installing them. But they did wake up the truck quite a bit. Speaking of the meets, I have been out to a couple dyno meets here in edmonton. I won't be able to make the one in Red Deer if it is still a go but can't wait for the next one now that I got a few more goodies on the old girl.

This HX35 I think will suit me good for now until I can save up some money so I can deal with my tranny situation. It sucks now having a truck that goes a bit and not being able to play. After the tranny upgrade I'll go from there.

Cheers

get a manifold and vgt from a 6.7 trust me... you want it. the 6.7 manifold will bolt up to your 24 valve and you will have an exhaust brake for pulling that 10k load of yours no problem
