klx - did you have the kool-vue's on your old truck? did you get them from fenderworld? if so, what was the cost and cost of shipping to get them to saskatoon. i am in calgary, and just did a mock billing/shipping address and the shipping seems to be included in the product price . . .

kandgo - if you want power and heat with the twoing housing then i believe kool-vue is your only option. just google 'kool-vue dodge ram' or similar and you should be able to find a bunch of vendors.

if your just after them for the towing option . . . then you can go to a wrecker and get a set from a 3rd gen and just pick up a pair of tow mirror brackets to fit your model year. do a search on here for '3rd gen tow mirror swap' or something along those lines and you should be able to find some more accurate info/facts.

i still have the regular power/heated NON-tow mirrors and have only read about my options available to switch.

Looks like Fenderworld has hands down the best price on the Heated Power Towing mirrors and support brackets needed for inside the door. $342 shipped to my door step. Free shipping. Cheapest place I have found.

Be better to look for the ones off a second gen, since you would need the bases from those ones even if you picked up a set of 3rd gens.

I got my power heated flip up kool-vue toe mirrors from www.discountautomirrors.com but had to order the brackets seperate from fender world. The mirrors from discount auto mirrors were cheaper then fender world, but with the brackets ordered seperately it came to only like a 10 $ dif.

Id go with either of those two places. they were both atleast a hundred less then anywhere else I found. Dodge dealership here in SLC wanted 600!!

Just ordered a set of power/heated fold-outs from fenderworld. $370CAD thats including exchange, shipping USPS to Canada c/w brackets. I emailed dodge dealership around here and they would only offer the standard mirrors no power/heat for $400 bucks.

Doj Dewd -I think I paid 399 CAD, shipped, exchange, etc. to my door. These were for heat and power. But that was before the better exchange rate. I think about 370 now. I'm not sure how they get past the pst/gst/brokerage fees...

I've got a set of **** tow/heated mirrors and love them. I think the Kool vue is like the stock 3rd gen mirrors and if they are, I can't stand those. My wife's truck has the stock flip out and I can't figure out what mirror I'm supposed to looking out of. If it were me, I'd go with the *****.
