Smarty problems
Anyone ever plugged in their smarty and it comes up as "unknown software"???? I was going to let a friend of mine try it out but when we plug it up the "unknown software" comes up... I know bob is out til tuesday, didn't know if anyone ever had this problem or not???

Have you ever updated your Mads software? If the truck that is being programmed has the latest updates from the dealer, but the Smarty hasn't been updated you'll have problems.

It's a brand new smarty, and the this guy has owned the truck for 2 years now and hasn't done anything to it. Think I should try to update the smarty anyway???

Seems to me I remember something about the trial stuff from Bullydog causing an issue like this. I think they had a try it before you buy it program once. Maybe someone uploaded it on the truck previously.
