Replacing stock bumper with a stock bumper.
Hey everyone,
Let me first start off with a little story. A relative of mine was doing some work around their home and needed to borrow my truck and trailer to go to Lowes and buy a few things. So, I let them, to only have my truck come back to me with a huge dent/crushing in of my front bumper. They didn't tell me about it when it happened but told me when they dropped off my truck and trailer. Nice of them huh??? Anyways, my truck is a 97 Dodge 2500. I went to a local salvage yard and they have several from other models but not a 97. My question is will a bumper from 94-02 fit my 97? I think the answer is yes but please let me know if that is not true. Thanks for the help and input.

There should not be any real differences between the 1994-1998, some say the 2000-2002 front beams on the frame are little different. And stay away from the sport model bumpers.
Oh, and if the dent is on the chrome/metal molding, that can be bought separately.
You got some nice relatives. I don't lend my truck to anyone

You can get the seperate parts from http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/de/t.aspx just leaf through the catalogue.
Or, order up a Ranchhand and make them pay for it.
