Need stock fuel filter canister

Genius!! Put the fuel pressure sending unit in too far and cracked the test port on the fuel filter. Anyone know where I can get another one? No jokes please - I'm old.

I have no idea what the price should be. I know that it is an obsolete part as far as Cummins is concerned. I don't know how to find a price for it. If it is reasonable I would be interested. Any picture of it?

I helped a friend out who did the exact thing. He over tightened the fitting and cracked it. I used some RTV gasket maker, the blue silicone stuff, and forced it into the crack and put a hose clamp around the cracked area with more RTV. The hose clamp will keep the crack closed and will not leak when dry.

Another way to fix the crack is to machine off the cracked fitting and re-tap. There is enough metal to allow this to work also.

Thanks for the advice on machining the cracked fitting. I'll keep that in mind. In the meantime I contacted some yards around the country to find another fuel filter. There are a couple on Ebay but seem pretty pricy.

Found someone who welded the crack on my filter and re-tapped it. Fuel pressure works great now.

Thanks for the input from everyone.
