I thought I had blown speakers as well, turns out it was the radio.
BTW, there is no difference between the Infinity and the standard Chrysler radio...... I plugged in a 20 dollar AM/FM/CD out of a Intrepid or something like that and voila, all 4 speakers are clear as a bell again.
If you have a spare radio laying around it might be worth it to throw it in just to see.

I have a '99 and door speakers were blown, the ones with the amps mounted on them. I was able to get 2 speakers (infinity) out of a Jeep at the local junk yard and wire tied the amps to them (very tightly), soldered a couple connectors to match and all is working great.

I tried another deck and have confirmed speakers are gone , is there any aftermarket speakers that are plug and play , to work with a factory deck , I don't have access to any junk yards around here .
