Are the steel braided brake hoses really better
I am just curious if the braided steel brake hoses are really that much better than the rubber ones; that they really help with braking
Thanks

Yep, better pedal feel.
They don't actually make the truck brake better, but they help you control the braking better.
If you go that route, take care that there is a layer of rubber or plastic encasing the braided stuff completely. Else you will get fine dirt between the braid and the inner line, which will abrade the inner line and lead to leaks.

I put them in every street motorcycle I've had and on a 12v I had when I upgraded the brakes. They do make a difference, although a small one. If you aren't a sensitive guy, you probably won't know the difference.
